DOES IT HURT?
No, Dermaplaning is a very relaxing treatment that poses little risk and no downtime. 

WILL IT CAUSE MY SKIN TO BREAKOUT?
Dermaplaning will not cause any skin sensitives or breakouts post treatment.  You skin will appear immediately smoother and healthier.

WILL MY HAIR GROW BACK THICKER OR DARKER?
This is a myth. Shaving nor Dermaplaning cannot change the structure of the hair growth.   Hair type and density are determined depending on factors such as body location, age, gender and hormones.  Removing hair from the surface of the skin cannot change these factors.
Vellus hair will not appear thicker or darker upon regrowth as the nature of vellus is “fuzz and not coarse as terminal hair on other parts of the body.

WILL I HAVE TO DO IT FOREVER?
The hair will grow back in the same state it was prior to Dermaplaning. Dermaplaning can be incorporated into your regular skin care treatments and can be performed every 4 weeks.   It is not recommend more often than that as your skin needs time to regenerate.
